Lamb of God - Ashes of the Wake
Epic ( 2004 )
Well as far as American metal goes, this is pretty bog standard stuff... I wasn't expecting any different, but since Mighty Matt was on and on about these guys back in the good old Death From Dagobah days, I figured I'd give the new album a few spins and see what it's all about. After the first listen I guess I liked what I heard because I gave it another spin right away (and no it wasn't because I was too lazy to change CDs or find something else to listen to!). Any ways, back to the topic, this is a decent American metal CD, not blow my mind stuff, but decent, and it'll continue to get spins for a while yet (oh and it's only on CD universe as I write this! so be sure to click the cover and pick yourself up a copy!)
