Dawn Of Relic
- Lovecraftian Dark
Season of Mist ( 2003 )
If you're a fan of melodic death metal but black metal tickles your fancy, then Lovecraftian Dark could very well be the album for you as it merges the two styles in an effortless manner. For a second album the improvement and creativity on Lovecraftian Dark is impressive to say the least, especially in the mid-tempo tracks. The inclusion of some female vocals and beautiful acoustic guitars among the most brutal blasts contributes to the diversity of this intense and very dark album. Dawn of Relic are still a young band but they're certainly heading in the right direction. One just wishes that they have enough time and support to allow them to grow.
