For a group that started a decade ago as a fun band doing covers of their favourite bands (Pestilence, Bolt Thrower and Death) this melodic death metal quintet from the Netherlands have gone far in finding their own musical identity. Produced by Andy Classen (former guitarist of German band Holy Moses) and with all the artwork done by Niklas Sundin (of Dark Tranquillity fame) ‘Flesh Power Dominion’ has got all the ingredients to make it stand out in the melodic death scene: twin guitars, thrash rhythms, deathy vocals, lots of powerful riffs and melodies and even a step back into their origins with a great cover of Death’s ‘Pull the Plug’. And they’re not Swedish!
