I guess no one could avoid all the, far too often heard, rumors of these pioneers going back to their roots. Damage Done in fact contains elements of all its predecessors, it’s every bit Dark Tranquillity and still manages to sound fresh and innovative. This is the work of a band that in its maturity knows what works and what doesn’t and has strip its music of over dressing and instead concentrated in polishing the skeleton. Once more with an impeccable production at the hands of Fredrik Nordström at Fredman studios.
This is an album that flows in your head like the ocean, immediate, moving and extremely intense.
