New album from the Tampa fab. These guys combine great thrashy riffs with more European melodic death guitar frills and brutal vocals. The result on this second album is absolutely brilliant and it proves that you can sound both American and European without compromising on an aggressive sound.

They also brought in a ton of guest appearances for this album. From producer Jonas Kjellgren (Scar Symmetry) to James Murphy (Death, Testament), Jonas Granvik (Without Grief, Edge of Sanity), Per Nillson (Scar Symmetry) or Santiago Dobles (Aghora).

An excellent band with a punchy and well balanced sound and great tunes. The Absence are here to stay!
