- Catch 22
Nuclear Blast ( 2002 )
Hypocrisy come back in 2002 in full force and a much more immediate and aggressive sound. Catch 22 is full of anger and catchy riffs still retaining the melancholic and dark sound that has characterized their sound along the years. The guitars incorporate and almost dare I say? Nu metalish sound and Peter's vocals are better than ever. There are so many obvious "hits" on this album it's almost scary, quite clearly the result of the desire to tour the four corners of the world with Catch 22, let's just hope it happens this time
A well thought very personal album with an excellent production totally fit for a live set in the 21st century.
